About Laura

Territorial Specialties was founded by Laura Diane Davis as an outlet for Western, Native American, and Victorian-inspired items.

Laura was born in Texas and raised in Prescott, Arizona, a charming frontier town, proud of its Old West heritage, eclectic architecture, tree-lined courthouse square and the World's Oldest Rodeo. She served on the Prescott Preservation Committee for six years which is dedicated to saving historic buildings in the local area. Laura personally supervised restoration of her magnificent 1895 Victorian home, decorating every inch with antiques and collectibles along with her delicate needlepoint creations. She has designed and assembled stained glass windows, repaired leaded glass windows and completed a variety of embroidery pieces for friends and clients.

Long attracted to the elegance and romance of the Victorian era, Laura was destined to create and launch her vintage-inspired handbag line, the Territorial Specialties Collection. Each unique handbag is designed by Laura and fashioned of fine (and durable!) fabrics and elegant trims. All of her bags are handmade in the USA.
